CURRENT FAVOURITE BOOKS:
'Owl Babies'- by Martin Waddell and Patrick Benson. A beautifully illustrated book about three baby owls who were worried that their owl mother was gone. They woke up in the middle of the night, not knowing that mum has gone hunting. Kian loves this story.
PS it all ends well :)
'I Love My Mommy Because... ' created by Laurel Porter-Gaylord and Ashley Wolff- a true gem that I found a few months ago in the charity shop. The book features beautiful and very realistic illustrations of animals and shows the mum- baby relations among many species. The animal behaviour presented in 'I Love My Mommy Because' has been verified by wildlife biologists.
Monkey Puzzle' by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. He knows this book by heart with his own words now. A great read!
Other than that, he imperturbably loves all books featuring real photos of animals
In February, after a month break, Kian fell back in love with his all-time favourite foods: tofu, beetroots and avocados. He just couldn't get enough of them! Also, the olives love that I mentioned in his January favourites, continues.
Well, I think I should say that speaking is generally his favourite. This little chatterbox aged 18 months, uses about 180 words, and he just keeps talking all day long. Yes, he took that after me! :) Some of his currently most used words and expressions are: 'oopsy daisy', 'planteta' (instead of 'planeta'- planet in Polish), thank you, 'proszÄ™' (you're welcome/ please/ there you go), and certainly all animals-related words like lion, tiger, dog, monkey, cat, kangaroo and many more.
Sadly, 'love you' is only reserved for daddy at the moment.
FAVOURITE FOOD:
SPEAKING:
Sadly, 'love you' is only reserved for daddy at the moment.
THE BLENDER OBSESSION:
He creates new blenders every single day, using random objects he finds at home, toys and kitchen utensils. So, every day we have fresh 'apple juice', 'carrot juice' or simply blended raw potatoes :)

THE SNOW:
I grew up in a place where we had a snow for a minimum of 4 months a year. Trust me- I had enough of it. Hence I love English winters, quite warm and snow-free. I never thought I would be glad to see it here, but the few snowy days we had in March made me so happy.
Kian loved it,too! It was the first snow in his life.We dug the sledge out of our garage and spent the whole day out, enjoying every minute of it.
CURRENT FAVOURITE TOYS:
Kian's dad loves the old school toys, so when he saw this wind-up chick from Waitrose, he couldn't resist but buy it for him. Kian became obsessed with it. He calls it 'joojeh', which means 'chicken' in Persian. The chick, unfortunately, doesn't look soft and cuddly anymore, as Kian once wanted to feed it, and he put it straight into cream cheese :)

Animal figurines are the type of toys worth investing in. Kian plays with them non-stop, he names them, copies their sounds and matches them to the photos of actual animals. I have got to admit though, that I think we love them even more than Kian does :)
Other favourite toys include his all-time favourite stuffed animals- a cat and a sheep, the doctor set (all teddies are now as fit as fiddle!) and the wooden shape sorter. And, of course, the beloved wooden toolbox!
Good to see at least one person enjoyed the recent snow lol
